About the Position of Digital Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a talented digital marketer with a burning desire to dig into the hard and rewarding work required to elevate our clients’ online presences and help grow their businesses. Proven experience is attractive, yet not required. Our philosophy is that your natural fit with our unique organization is paramount. Skills can be taught and experience will be accumulated, but innate chemistry can’t be forced or faked.

The responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Specialist within Pathways Marketing include:
Setting up, writing copy for, and maintaining ads for Google and all social media channels using best practices as defined by SEMRush and our agency’s own secret sauce.
Managing several client accounts, including interfacing with each client according to a set cadence, delivering monthly progress reports, and liaising with the rest of our agency.
Monitoring key online marketing metrics to track success of our clients, including the management and presentation of digital dashboards.
Identifying and surfacing potential issues with each client’s contracted managed services. Analyzing digital data to uncover recommendations for improving performance, including testing strategies and content/image optimization.
Collaborating with the broader agency team to create marketing campaigns.

The right candidate will draw on digital marketing knowledge and/or experience to confidently display:
Strong grasp of strategies around paid promotion: Google Ads, Google My Business, and Google My Places.
Deep understanding of organic search prominence elevation (SEO).
Experience executing paid social media campaigns, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and ongoing upcoming trends (e.g., TikTok).
Familiarity with retargeting ads, list building, and email marketing.
